On the other hand, steer clear of caffeine and alcohol and stay dehydrated to stay healthy during long flights. If you must drink anything at all, let it be your bottled water which you must have carried with you on your journey. Do not just take any type of water, ensure that you carry sufficient water that will take you through your journey along. Drink water very well before the start of the journey and during your flight. Try as much as possible to keep away from alcohol and caffeine as the two will dehydrate you.

For the fact that lack of sleep will affect your immune system, make sure that you get sufficient sleep on a regular basis. Apart from even trying to have enough sleep during your long flight, it is imperative for you to get sufficient sleep of 7 to 8 hours per night everyday.

Furthermore, you can stay healthy during long flights by eating well and keeping away from sugar. If you want enough vitamins, the best way is to eat different types of fruits and vegetables like spinach, kale and other greens on daily basis, but it is strongly recommended that you should not to take pills. Avoid sugar at all costs because sugar will weaken your immune system. Keeping away from sugar will be the best for you. In the alternative, you can get sugar naturally from sweet fruits. As substitute for sugar, you can opt for organic yogurt to boost your immune system.
