If you are traveling abroad for any reason whatsoever, you need travel visas to be allowed into the country of your choice. However, in the course of processing your application, you need to show prove that you have enough money to sustain you in the country you are going so that you will not become liability to your host country. If you do not have sufficient fund to take care of yourself or give convincing way of surviving, you may be denied a visa.
